SUMMARY:Yoga Nidra Meditation and Energy Healing Circle
DESCRIPTION:Join me at the Spiritual Growth and Community Center’s monthly Energy Healing Circle for a relaxing session of Yoga Nidra on Friday\, Oct. 17th! \nYoga nidra is the yoga of sleep. It is a guided meditation that brings the student through the five koshic levels of being and into the brainwave states similar to sleep\, allowing for profound healing. A 30-minute yoga nidra session can equal the healing and rest obtained during several hours of quality sleep. \nYoga nidra is especially beneficial for aiding the major ailments many of us suffer from due to modern life – anxiety\, stress\, depression\, insomnia\, chronic pain\, chronic fatigue\, isolation\, and more. \nParticipants are encouraged to bring a mat\, blankets\, and/or pillows to ensure they are as comfortable as possible during the meditation. \nFollowing the meditation\, participants can opt to receive hands-on Reiki from our group of Reiki-attuned volunteers. Afterwards\, we will reconvene over snacks to share our thoughts and experiences. \nNo experience is necessary. Snacks provided! All are welcome to join. Suggested Donation is $10.

DESCRIPTION:Join me and Amanda Worcester of Wandering Light Reiki for a group Reiki 1 class at UCMH in Hudson\, MA! The class will run 3 – 3.5 hours\, and includes instruction\, attunement\, and practice. \nReiki 1 is for anyone interested in becoming Reiki attuned for the first time and learning to channel Reiki for healing. Some choose to use Reiki just for self-healing and spiritual development\, while others learn in order to help others heal. No matter whether one or both of these paths call to you\, I strongly recommend a Reiki attunement for anyone on a spiritual path. \nOur class will cover the history of modern Reiki\, the basics of the energetic body\, energetic cleansing and protection\, hand positions\, and more. The first of the three Reiki degrees is also the most fun! It celebrates the vibrational rise that all students experience as they become first-time Reiki practitioners. \nNo experience is necessary\, and all are welcome. DESCRIPTION:I am collaborating with Nadine Lucas\, LMHC\, of Compassion Based Healing\, to offer this unique workshop. Nadine is a trained SoulCollage® facilitator\, and says this about the process: \n“SoulCollage® is a deeply personal and intuitive form of art therapy developed by Seena B. Frost in the late 1980s\, designed to facilitate self-discovery and emotional exploration through creative collage-making. Participants create 5×8 inch cards by intuitively selecting and arranging images from magazines\, photographs\, and personal artwork that resonate on a profound emotional level\, representing different aspects of the self. \nThe process goes beyond simple image creation\, incorporating a unique journaling technique where participants write from the perspective of each card using the phrase “I am the one who…” This approach allows for deep dialogue with different parts of the self\, uncovering hidden insights\, emotions\, and internal narratives. Each card becomes a visual and textual representation of an internal aspect\, offering a tangible way to explore one’s inner landscape.” \nOn Saturday\, May 10th\, we will use this beautiful process to focus on our inner Godzilla. DESCRIPTION:I am offering a monthly gathering focused on shamanic journeying and drumming\, beginning March 28th. No experience with shamanism\, journeying\, or drumming is necessary – just a curious and open heart! \nShamanic journeying is a powerful practice that anyone can learn and use. Working in the spirit realm teaches us true freedom and self-empowerment. There\, we have access to other worlds. We connect with the energy that underlies the physical world. We also receive guidance from our spirit guides and ancestors. Moreover\, we gain the ability to heal ourselves at the deepest level. As Sandra Ingerman says\, journeying gives us access to “information and energies that can help awaken us and restore us to wholeness.” \nWe will most often meet at the Unitarian Church of Marlboro and Hudson\, located in Hudson\, MA (80 Main St.)\, on the third Saturday of the month from 2 to 4 PM (except our first meeting on March 29). During the summer\, we’ll gather outdoors\, when possible\, in various locations. \nAs we begin\, we’ll focus on learning journey techniques. We will meet our spirit guides and create a sacred garden from which to work. From there\, we will explore group journeying\, drumming for journeying and healing\, divinatory and self-healing journeys\, and much more. On the summer solstice\, we will gather at a fire circle in Lunenburg for a journey ceremony. \nThis is an open group\, and anyone can join any gathering. SUMMARY:Reindeer No Moon Healing Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Join me on Imbolg\, Feb. 2nd\, 2025\, for the first public Reindeer Healing Ceremony in many millennia. Three and a half years ago\, a shamanic ancestor came to me and helped me revive the extinct tradition of Reindeer Shamanism. On Feb. 2nd I’m offering a public healing ceremony\, and introducing Reindeer Shamanism to the public for the first time in thousands of years. \nAt this ceremony\, we will gather to heal ourselves and our communities. The winter No Moon is the darkest time of the year\, and when it is most important to drive away the dark and bring in healing light and warmth. Together as one big community\, we will shift the energy of our larger community(ies) from fear to love. \nPercussion instruments for a drum circle are welcomed. This ceremony is recommended for teens and adults. Childcare for younger children will be provided. Coffee and snacks will be offered following the ceremony. \nThis ceremony is free and open to the public. Donations gratefully received.
