SUMMARY:Reiki 2 Class and Attunement
DESCRIPTION:This is the fourth meeting for my Reiki 2 class which begins April 4th. \nReiki 2 classes are for anyone who has their Reiki 1 attunement and would like to progress to Reiki 2 and learn how to send distance Reiki healing to others. \nIn Reiki 2\, you will learn how to work with the Reiki symbols\, the components of the energetic body\, how to practice distance Reiki\, connect with your spirit guides\, and more. Anyone who is considering becoming a professional Reiki practitioner should become Reiki 2 attuned. \nReiki 2 is also the next step on your spiritual journey. Each Reiki attunement is an initiation into a higher vibrational way of working and living. Many practitioners report that their Reiki 2 attunement was the most powerful of the three. \nReiki 2 certification will be held in 3 – 4 classes. The first 2 classes are on Zoom on Fridays April 4 and 11 from 7 – 9 PM. There is an option for a 3rd online meeting for students who want more class time. The final class is in-person for the attuement in Hudson\, MA at the Unitarian Church of Marlboro and Hudson\, 80 Main St.\, Hudson\, MA. \nTwo dates are available for the final class and attunement: Saturday April 26th (afternoon) and Friday May 2nd (evening). \nThe cost for the full class series is $250. SUMMARY:SoulCollage - Unleashing Your Inner Godzilla!
DESCRIPTION:I am collaborating with Nadine Lucas\, LMHC\, of Compassion Based Healing\, to offer this unique workshop. Nadine is a trained SoulCollage® facilitator\, and says this about the process: \n“SoulCollage® is a deeply personal and intuitive form of art therapy developed by Seena B. Frost in the late 1980s\, designed to facilitate self-discovery and emotional exploration through creative collage-making. Participants create 5×8 inch cards by intuitively selecting and arranging images from magazines\, photographs\, and personal artwork that resonate on a profound emotional level\, representing different aspects of the self. \nThe process goes beyond simple image creation\, incorporating a unique journaling technique where participants write from the perspective of each card using the phrase “I am the one who…” This approach allows for deep dialogue with different parts of the self\, uncovering hidden insights\, emotions\, and internal narratives. Each card becomes a visual and textual representation of an internal aspect\, offering a tangible way to explore one’s inner landscape.” \nOn Saturday\, May 10th\, we will use this beautiful process to focus on our inner Godzilla. And it’s not what you may think! Come and be surprised at the origins of this movie phenomenon and how the people of Japan used Godzilla as a metaphor for speaking up in the face of oppression: A very creative way to use their voices. SUMMARY:Shamanic Journey & Drumming Group
DESCRIPTION:Our monthly Shamanic Journey and Drumming group meets on the third Saturday of every month. No experience with shamanism\, journeying\, or drumming is required – just a curious and open heart! \nShamanic journeying is a powerful practice that anyone can learn and use. Working in the spirit realm teaches us true freedom and self-empowerment. There\, we have access to other worlds. We connect with the energy that underlies the physical world. We also receive guidance from our spirit guides and ancestors. Moreover\, we gain the ability to heal ourselves at the deepest level. As Sandra Ingerman says\, journeying gives us access to “information and energies that can help awaken us and restore us to wholeness.” \nShamanic drumming is both a healing art and a catalyst for shamanic journeying. At our gatherings\, we will explore both ways of working with rhythm. Participants are encouraged to bring a drum and/or rattle if they have one. SUMMARY:Playing With Tarot
DESCRIPTION:Our next tarot gathering is on Friday of Memorial Day weekend. If you’re not traveling\, I hope you’ll join us!  We’ll meet at 7 PM upstairs in the Knight Room at UCMH (address is below). \nIn these gatherings\, we talk about tarot\, learn from each other\, explore new and old spreads\, and read for each other and the group. \nWhy are we playing instead of learning tarot? \nBecause playing is fun! Our gatherings focus on intuitive reading. Certain attitudes and perspectives arise when we use the word ‘learn’: right versus wrong ways of doing things\, the need to work hard to study and learn\, the need to prove our skills\, fears of testing\, etc. \nBut telling ourselves that we’re playing instead of learning puts us into a different mindset.
