SUMMARY:Reiki 1 Group Class
DESCRIPTION:Join me and Amanda Worcester of Wandering Light Reiki for a group Reiki 1 class at UCMH in Hudson\, MA! The class will run 3 – 3.5 hours\, and includes instruction\, attunement\, and practice. \nReiki 1 is for anyone interested in becoming Reiki attuned for the first time and learning to channel Reiki for healing. Some choose to use Reiki just for self-healing and spiritual development\, while others learn in order to help others heal. No matter whether one or both of these paths call to you\, I strongly recommend a Reiki attunement for anyone on a spiritual path. \nOur class will cover the history of modern Reiki\, the basics of the energetic body\, energetic cleansing and protection\, hand positions\, and more. The first of the three Reiki degrees is also the most fun! It celebrates the vibrational rise that all students experience as they become first-time Reiki practitioners. \nNo experience is necessary\, and all are welcome. SUMMARY:Shamanic Journey and Drumming Group
DESCRIPTION:Our monthly Shamanic Journey and Drumming group meets on the third Saturday of every month. No experience with shamanism\, journeying\, or drumming is required – just a curious and open heart! \nShamanic journeying is a powerful practice that anyone can learn and use. Working in the spirit realm teaches us true freedom and self-empowerment. There\, we have access to other worlds. We connect with the energy that underlies the physical world. We also receive guidance from our spirit guides and ancestors. Moreover\, we gain the ability to heal ourselves at the deepest level. As Sandra Ingerman says\, journeying gives us access to “information and energies that can help awaken us and restore us to wholeness.” \nShamanic drumming is both a healing art and a catalyst for shamanic journeying. At our gatherings\, we will explore both ways of working with rhythm. Participants are encouraged to bring a drum and/or rattle if they have one. Extra rhythm instruments will be available for those without. \nThe July meeting will be held at a private labyrinth in Berlin\, MA. SUMMARY:Playing With Tarot!
DESCRIPTION:Join me on the 4th Fridays in January\, March\, May\, July\, September\, and November for a tarot gathering focused on intuitive tarot reading skills. \nWhy are we playing instead of learning tarot? \nBecause playing is fun! Our gatherings focus on intuitive reading. Certain attitudes and perspectives arise when we use the word ‘learn’: right versus wrong ways of doing things\, the need to work hard to study and learn\, the need to prove our skills\, fears of testing\, etc. \nBut telling ourselves that we’re playing instead of learning puts us into a different mindset. Hopefully\, one that is more relaxed and ready for fun. And that makes it easier to access our intuition.
