DESCRIPTION:Join us for a celebration of spring with a Pagan circle honoring Ostara\, the Spring Equinox! Spring is about rebirth and renewal\, and we’ll gather in beloved community to renew our spirits with the energies of the awakening Earth. \nAfter a long\, dark\, and difficult winter\, it is time to re-emerge and clear our energy for the work ahead. And to think about what we’re bringing into the light to grow and flourish after our hibernation. \nWe’ll harness the tides of change that surge at each equinox and spend time rebalancing our energy for the upcoming growing season. \nDoors open at 10 AM\, ceremony begins at 10:30 AM. A coffee and social gathering with snacks and drinks (provided) will follow the ceremony. \nLocation: Downstairs in Union Hall at the Unitarian Church of Marlboro and Hudson. \nThis is a free event\, and donations to the Unitarian Church of Marlboro and Hudson will be gratefully received.

DESCRIPTION:Our monthly Shamanic Journey and Drumming group meets on the third Saturday of every month. This is a drop-in event\, and no experience with shamanism\, journeying\, or drumming is required – just a curious and open heart! \nShamanic journeying is a powerful practice that anyone can learn and use. Working in the spirit realm teaches us true freedom and self-empowerment. There\, we have access to other worlds. We connect with the energy that underlies the physical world and receive guidance from our spirit guides and ancestors. Moreover\, we gain the ability to heal ourselves at the deepest level. \nShamanic drumming is both a healing art and a catalyst for shamanic journeying. At our gatherings\, we will explore both ways of working with rhythm. Participants are encouraged to bring (or make!) a rhythm instrument for healing work\, but extras are available for those who don’t have one. \nLocation: The Unitarian Church of Marlboro and Hudson (UCMH)\, 80 Main St.\, Hudson\, MA\, upstairs in the Knight Room. SUMMARY:Playing With Tarot! An Intuitive Tarot Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join me on the 4th Fridays in January\, March\, May\, July\, September\, and November for a tarot gathering focused on intuitive tarot reading skills. \nOur gatherings combine discussions of tarot topics\, reading introspectively for ourselves\, playing with our decks in unconventional ways\, and group readings (a favorite event that produces some of our most interesting experiences). \nWhy are we playing instead of learning tarot? \nBecause playing is fun! Our gatherings focus on intuitive reading. Certain attitudes and perspectives arise when we use the word ‘learn’: right versus wrong\, the need to study and learn\, the need to prove our skills\, fears of testing\, etc. \nBut telling ourselves that we’re playing instead of learning puts us into a different mindset. Hopefully\, one that is more relaxed and ready for fun. And that makes it easier to access our intuition. Bring your favorite tarot deck and come see how fun tarot can be without the rules! \nIf you’re new(er) to tarot and don’t yet have a deck\, there are extra decks available to borrow. \nCost: $5/UCMH Members\, $10 Non-members \nRegistration: This is a drop-in event; pre-registration is not required.
