Reiki is a healing practice from Japan that engages a gentle, non-invasive flow of energy between the Practitioner and the client. This energetic exchange balances a client’s energy, promoting physical and/or emotional healing.

I’m a Reiki Master/Teacher and have been practicing Reiki for over 8 years. I work with standard Reiki protocols along with my intuition to discern locations in the body where Reiki may be needed most, and how to best help my client. I also offer specialty Crystal Reiki sessions.

Energy medicine is the practice of healing and balancing the body’s chakras, meridians, and energy fields through direct manipulation. Some techniques include meridian tracing, acupressure, and moving the hands through the aura/energy field, or chakras.

Energy medicine differs from Reiki in that it is a “hands-on” method of interacting with the energetic body, while Reiki focuses on sending healing universal energy to the body’s physical and energetic systems to achieve healing and balance.

Inkwood is as much about teaching others how to heal as it is about facilitating healing through energy work. I’ve been an experiential educator for over 20 years, and offer programs on wellness, healing through tarot, Reiki, and articles on wellness in the Inkwood Journal, to assist my clients and students on their self-healing paths.

In healing sessions, I teach my clients self-healing techniques that they can use at home to aid their healing.
