The Inkwood Repository
Sometimes it amazes me that I’ve been blogging and selling online for over 18 years. Over that time I’ve accumulated a considerable collection of blogs, sites, and social profiles and pages.
My first online project was Withywindle Books started in 2005, a sci-fi and fantasy-focused bookstore that closed its (theoretical) doors in 2018. A full collection of all things Withywindle can be found at the Withywindle Repository.
That repository has helped me keep track of my digital footprint, and keep my collection (somewhat) in check. Or at least curated.
As Inkwood grows, I’ve decided to create a similar repository for all of Inkwood’s profiles and platforms for the same reason. I’ve added links to my older blogs to keep continuity in my online writing history.
Blog History
- Off the Path Journal on Blogger, my first blog, which was part personal and part nature journal, was active from 2008 to 2011
- Off the Path Journal on WordPress.com, was active from 2011 to 2015, and the focus of the blog shifted from nature writing to the magical work I had begun doing.
- OffthePath.com was the final home for my first blog from 2015 – 2020, but a database snafu wiped the site clean, and it is no longer in existence.
- The Withywindle Blog (now the Withywindle Nature Blog) began in 2005 as part of the bookstore. It was in minimal use there and eventually acquired its own domain (WithywindleBlog.com, now defunct) and ended up as the home for my nature writing when Off the Path shifted focus in 2011. It remains active, although I don’t post there with as much frequency.
- The Inkwood Journal, which began at InkwoodJournal.com in 2019 was migrated in part to Inkwood Healing’s blog page (which is where that domain now redirects) when that site became active in 2022. This is where the majority of my blogging currently takes place.
