Playing with Tarot Regular Gatherings

Tarot cards

Join us for an every-other-month gathering in Hudson, MA where we ‘play’ with our tarot decks, ask tarot questions, and nerd out over tarot details and trivia.

These gatherings are not focused on card-by-card teaching of ‘how tarot works’. Rather, we play with our decks in fun and intuitive ways, building our unique understanding of the cards.

Each gathering will explore new spreads, play with ways to deepen our intuitive reading skills, and learn to read for and with each other. No tarot experience is necessary – come play! If you’re new to tarot and don’t have a deck, a few decks will be available to work with.

Why are we playing instead of learning tarot?

Because playing is fun! And our gatherings focus on intuitive reading. Certain attitudes and perspectives arise when we use the word ‘learn’. Right versus wrong ways of doing things, needing to work hard to study and learn, needing to prove our skills, fears of testing, etc.

But telling ourselves that we’re playing instead of learning puts us into a different mindset. Hopefully, one that is more relaxed and ready for fun. And that makes it easier to access our intuition. There’s no right or wrong way to ‘play’, so there are no fears of messing up or failing. And there’s no right or wrong way to play with tarot and access your intuition, either. You are free to play and intuit however feels right for you.
