What is a shamanic ceremony?

A ceremony is time spent creating and working in sacred space with the energies of the earth to carry out a specific intention. That intention might be healing, honoring people or spirits, celebrating the seasons, or marking life passages. Ceremonies can be performed indoors or outdoors, by a single individual or by hundreds. They can be short and simple, or lengthy and complex. What matters most about a ceremony is the heart and intent behind it.

Reindeer Shaman ceremonies work with the energies and spirits in my specific lineage to help bring healing and balance to people and places. Participants are connected with an ancient healing lineage and practice aimed at bridging the ancient and modern worlds.

What are the benefits of ceremonial work?

When performing or participating in ceremonies, we take time to recognize things that might ordinarily get overlooked in a busy modern life. Creating sacred space and acknowledging and processing events help us grow spiritually and heal. The work is magnified when we participate in ceremonies with like-minded people.

Ceremony involves a deep healing and connection that shifts vibrations and creates transformation that ripples through the community. Despite their seeming simplicity, ceremonies have the power to effect considerable change on the energetic, spiritual, and physical planes.

Join me for a Shamanic Ceremony!

I offer Reindeer Shaman ceremonies throughout the year in central Massachusetts. These ceremonies connect participants with my shamanic lineage and our energetic work in the Arctic. They vary in focus, except for two. The two ceremonies noted below are repeated annually and are powerful healing ceremonies that aid shifts on many levels. They are a core aspect of my shamanic practice.

No Moon Ceremony

At the new moon in mid-winter, I offer this healing ceremony to dispel the darkness and call back the light. This was the first ceremony taught to me, and is an integral part of my lineage’s practice.

Summer Harvest Ceremony

This ceremony gathers the light and healing warmth of high summer and stores it until the No Moon Ceremony in winter. Then, it is released into the community to offer healing to all.
