On Sunday, January 18th, 2026, I will hold the second public No Moon Reindeer Shaman ceremony in modern history at the Unitarian Church of Marlboro and Hudson, in Hudson, MA. This healing ceremony brings us together in beloved community to offer ourselves and our communities healing as we work to lift the energetic darkness of winter.
I experienced this ceremony for the first time in the spirit realm in January of 2023, on the new moon shortly after my initiation into my shamanic lineage. During this ceremony, I became immediately aware of its importance to our lineage and the communities I was and am connected to.
On the first new moon of 2024, I held this ceremony for myself, bridging the physical and spirit realms, successfully bringing my shamanic ancestors into my physical ceremony to heal and honor our lineage.
On February 2nd, 2025, I led my first public shamanic ceremony, holding the No Moon Ceremony for my spiritual community, offering healing for all present, and our communities. I was blown away by the success of this ceremony. Several known participants spoke with me afterward to share their experiences, noting that my ancestors and guides were felt and, in some cases, even seen.
I went through another initiatory experience a few weeks later, at the end of which my shaman ancestors let me know that my successful ceremony had completed a 2-year, 3-ceremony cycle, which (among other work) elevated me to the level of teacher in our lineage.
It’s worth noting that this process would have taken considerably longer, once upon a time. The needs of the world right now are pushing all spiritual practices forward with increasing speed, so we can respond to the crisis humanity is undergoing.
Now, in 2026, I am honored to again bring the No Moon Ceremony to all who wish to experience it with me. Together, we will call in and dispel the darkness, then drum up energy, and release healing light and heat specially stored from the summer. Hand drums and percussion are welcome, but not necessary.
Doors open at 10 AM, ceremony begins at 10:30 AM. A coffee and social gathering with snacks and drinks (provided) will follow the ceremony.
