Years of Expertise & Guidance
I have been an experiential and outdoor educator for more than 20 years because I’m passionate about helping people discover, learn, and connect with nature and themselves. I have a master’s degree in Conservation Biology, and have served as a program director, park ranger, camp director, challenge course facilitator, educational liaison, naturalist, and religious educator.
I have taught and trained facilitators & teachers, and co-led professional development summits and conferences for environmental educators and leaders.

Areas of Practice
20 years as a professional naturalist teaching topics in ecology and natural history, specializing in animal tracking and predator ecology.
5+ years as a challenge course manager and facilitator, leading groups in challenge/adventure programming on high and low ropes courses.
7+ years as a Unitarian Universalist religious educator and Director of Education, helping youth find their spiritual center.
Teaching as a Passion
I love to teach. My first professional teaching job was in 1996, teaching and certifying people in CPR and first aid, and I quickly realized that it fit me well. I discovered that I’m passionate about sharing what I learn that benefits people at all levels – physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual.
From nature connection to shamanism to spiritual exploration, my goal is to help people learn that they can connect and heal themselves on every level. And that the tools they need are always available.
