The tarot is called the Fool’s Journey due to how the major arcana unfolds to reveal archetypal ideas and imagery along the human path of becoming – the Fool is the first card in the sequence, thus the traveler along this path. When we engage the tarot for personal growth and healing, we become the innocent and carefree Fool on our own transformational journey.
