Years of Expertise & Professionalism
I have been an experiential and outdoor educator for more than 20 years because I’m passionate about helping people discover, learn, and connect with nature. I have served as a program director, park ranger, camp director, challenge course facilitator, educational liaison, and naturalist.
I have taught and trained facilitators & teachers, and co-led professional development summits and conferences for environmental educators.
Areas of Practice
I have extensive training and experience as an educator in several areas:
- 20 years as a professional naturalist teaching topics in ecology and natural history to a wide variety of audiences
- 5+ years as a challenge course manager and facilitator, leading groups in challenge/adventure programming
- 6 years as a Unitarian Universalist religious educator and Director of Education, helping youth find their spiritual center
Teaching as a Passion
I love to teach because I’m passionate about sharing the things I learn that benefit people on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual. I love empowering people to self-heal.
From nature connection to wholistic wellness to spiritual exploration, my goal is to help people learn that they can heal themselves on every level.
