To help spread the word about the importance and ease of connecting with nature, I created this document to help us make or keep nature connection a simple part of our wellness plan. Because spending more time outdoors is particularly good for us on a mental and energetic level – benefits we often overlook while focusing on the physical benefits (which are many).
Energetically, being in physical contact with the earth helps ground our personal energy, and establishes our critical connection to the earth’s energy field. Mentally and emotionally, that connection to earth energy reminds us on a subtle level of our connection to all living things, and that we are never truly alone.
Although this resource offers some quick and easy methods of staying connected to nature, it isn’t hard to take those activities up a notch. Walking on a nature trail, bird watching from your window, or swimming in a pond, lake, or ocean, are excellent ways to connect with natural space and the living creatures surrounding you. And you can visit my outdoor activity page on the Withywindle Nature Blog for more suggestions: https://www.withywindlenature.com/programs/activities-outdoor-information/
The poster is 11×14″ and suitable for printing. Share this with others you think could benefit from a nudge to get outdoors more often! It makes a great resource for a classroom, waiting room, or healing space. You can find the free download in our Shop.
